I have brought back to life an 11954 Cow & Gate Tin and turned it into an exquisite light feature.
The baby on the tin is called "Smiler" and starts to appear on product packaging and advertising. This version of him wearing a crown had a slogan 'The food of royal babies." This original Cow & Gate tin was found in an old shed in Canterbury, Kent.
The lamp has been wired with an antique looking 0.75 twisted flex and it has E27 lamp holder, black 3amp plug and a black on/off switch fitted to the cable.
A weight has been added to give it more stability.
The metalwork has been lacquered.
This lamp comes with a E27 G95 LED bulb.
The lamp has been PAT tested and meets current legislation.
