I have brought back to life a piece of threaded industrial machinery and turned it into an exquisite light feature.

I found two off these pieces of thread hardwood in an antique market in Lille, France. I was attracted to them because it has shown signs of wear and age, and I thought it would be great make them into something sculptural with a light bulb on top.

The lamp has been wired with an antique looking 0.75 twisted flex and it has E27 lamp holder, black 3amp plug and a black on/off toggle switch fitted to the cable.

The lamp's woodwork has been waxed.

The lamp has been mounted on a old railway sleeper.

This lamp comes with a E27 G95 LED bulb.

The lamp has been PAT tested and meets current legislation.
